      Poetry, theater are perfect match in Freehold
            Poetry Without Borders will showcase five poets and spoken word artists in a special performance at the Center Playhouse on Kruise Night, June 28 from 7-9 p.m. at Center Playhouse, 35 South St., downtown Freehold.       Marlboro resident welcomed as new deacon
            Members of St. David's Episcopal Church, Cranbury, formally welcomed their new deacon, the Rev. Richard Wisniewski, of Marlboro, to St. David's staff on Sunday, June 24, in a ceremony conducted by the rector, the Rev. Karin R. Mitchell.

      Bible school will offer 'Game Day Central'
            "Game Day Central: Where Heroes Are Made," a week of nonstop action that will teach youngsters what it means to join God's team, will be the theme for the vacation Bible school at Colts Neck Baptist Church, 25 Merchants Way. Children in preschool through grade six will be admitted free Aug. 6-10 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
