Teen readies for summer singing tour of Europe

      FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP - Kristin Lindquist loves to sing and her talents have recently afforded her the opportunity to be selected for The Sound of America Honor Band and Chorus that will be touring Europe in July. "I've always loved to perform in front of people," said Kristin, 17, who graduated from Freehold Township High School on June 20.

      David Schwartz, son of Ira and Barbara Schwartz of Marlboro, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the Rochester Institute of Technology, N.Y. A third-year student in RIT's Kate Gleason College of Engineer-ing, Schwartz is studying industrial and systems engineering. He is a 2004 graduate of Marlboro High School.
