      The Senior Citizens Housing Corpor-ation of Freehold Borough is offering free transportation for seniors and disabled persons in the Freehold Borough area. Transportation is available Monday through Friday, to and from doctors' offices, CentraState Medical Center, local grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Wegmans and the Freehold Raceway Mall.

Troops short on personal items request donations
      Freehold American Legion Post No. 54 will conduct a drive to collect items needed by one of its members and his fellow soldiers who are stationed overseas, fighting in the war on terror. PFC William Madigan, a 20-year-old member of Post 54, has been assigned to F.O.B. Baylough in Afghanistan and has told family members that personal items are needed by the troops.
