      Although Emily Wikoff Cappiello of Allentown is in her first year as a teacher at Timberlane Middle School in Pennington, she felt well prepared for the transition from academe. Cappiello is a graduate of Manalapan High School and is the daughter of James and Maryann Wikoff.

Students showcase musical talent for township seniors
      FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP - Enhancing the relationship between the senior citizen community and the elementary and middle schools, Eisenhower Middle School students performed for seniors at the Freehold Township Senior Center, Jackson Mills Road, on April 18. Students sang and played various instruments during the recital under the direction of music teachers Christine Feldman and Jesse Ryan.

Language arts honors program to be offered

      MARLBORO - A language arts honors program will be offered to middle school students beginning in September. "The purpose of the program is to provide a challenging language arts program for those exceptional students in area of language arts," said Karen Kondek, supervisor of language arts literacy in the Marlboro K-8 School District.
