Official supports legislation on false bomb threats
I am writing in regard to state Assem-blywoman Amy Handlin's bomb threat legislation, A-3130. As a local elected official, I find it very important to protect our interests, especially when it comes to our children and schools.             With much gratitude I would like to thank Freehold High School Principal Linda Jewell and her colleagues who helped our children deal with the tragedy that occurred Jan. 10. Within an hour after the accident my son, Colton, called me at work to inform me he had just lost two good friends in an accident.

Each parent would play that extra game, or read their child just one more story.

Attorney corrects article's info about DWI convictions
As a local criminal defense attorney with a substantial DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) practice, I read with interest the recent article by Kathy Chang titled "Misconceptions Abound About Police, Traffic Laws." Unfortunately, the article itself contains two significant "misconceptions" concerning drunk driving law in New Jersey that should be corrected.
