      Michael John Dragonetti

      Michael John Dragonetti, 17, died Jan. 10, 2007, in Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Freehold Township in 1999. Michael was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. He had played in the Freehold Township Pop Warner Football League and was also an assistant football coach. In addition, he played in the Freehold Township Little League. A senior at Freehold High School, Freehold Borough, Michael was captain of the Freehold High School 2006 varsity football team. He was a member of the National Honor Society, the National Spanish Honor Society and the Principal's Honor Roll, as well as a contributing writer for the Freehold High School Spirit newspaper. He was a 2006 College Board AP Scholar with Honor and also volunteered at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Michael is survived by his parents, Michael and Theresa Dragonetti of Freehold Township; a brother, Nicholas P. Dragonetti, at home; his maternal grandmother, Mary Cooke of Staten Island; three aunts and uncles, Daniel and Marylou Cooke of Staten Island, John and Lisa Dragonetti of Wood-Ridge, and Paul and Karen Dragonetti of Cherry Hill; and many cousins and friends. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.

      Andrew Bernard Lundy

      Andrew Bernard Lundy, 16, of Freehold Township, died Jan. 10, 2007, in Freehold Township. Born in Neptune, he had lived in Howell before moving to Freehold Township. He attended the C. Richard Applegate and Dwight D. Eisenhower schools, both of Freehold Township, and was a junior at Freehold High School, Freehold Borough, where he was enrolled in the Medical Sciences Learning Center. A straight-A pre-med student, Andrew was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. In addition, he received numerous academic achievement awards and was a National Merit Scholar. He was a volunteer at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. An avid guitar player, he also loved watching and participating in hockey, football and baseball. Andrew was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Bernard Harold Lundy. He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Theodore Lundy of Freehold Township; a sister, Brooke Lundy of Hartford, Conn.; two brothers, Jason G. and David J. Lundy, both at home; his maternal grandparents, Delores and George Csaki of Manalapan; his paternal grandmother, Jacqueline Brown of Aventura, Fla.; an aunt, Janet Van Fossen of Howell; and a cousin, Charles Van Fossen of Howell. Funeral services were held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.       Linda J. Sultana

      Mrs. Sultana, 57, of Farmingdale, died Jan. 2, 2007, at home. Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she had lived there before moving to Farmingdale in 1977. She was a bookkeeper for the MG Group, Colts Neck, for the past 22 years. Mrs. Sultana was predeceased by her father, Christopher Christiansen. Surviving are her husband, Joseph Sultana; a daughter, Jennifer Sultana of Farmingdale; her mother, Helen Christiansen of Farmingdale; and a brother-in-law, Victor Sultana of Citrus Heights, Calif. A graveside service was held at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.

      James Stevenson Warnock

      James Stevenson Warnock, 17, died Jan. 10, 2007, in Freehold Township. Born in Freehold Township, he was a lifelong township resident and a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. He was a former cadet with the Civil Air Patrol, Bayshore Composite Squadron, Fort Monmouth, and a third-degree black belt and instructor for ATA Black Belt Academy. James attended the Monmouth County Police Academy summer program in Freehold Township and was a former member of the Freehold Township Police Explorers. A senior at Freehold High School, Freehold Borough, James played football there from 2003 to 2005. He was nominated as a tri-captain for the 2007 spring season of the high school's track and field team. James had also worked at the ShopRite supermarket in Freehold Township and was most recently employed by Brookstone at Freehold Raceway Mall, Freehold Township. James is survived by his parents, James J. and Elizabeth Warnock of Freehold Township; two brothers, Michael P. and Thomas A. Warnock, both at home; a sister, Jessica L. Warnock, also at home; his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Carmella Stevenson of Freehold Township; his paternal grandmother, Mildred Warnock of Holmdel; his godparents, Patrick and Vicki Warnock of Freehold; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Rose of Lima Chapel, Freehold. Interment was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.

      Marie Inez Maziekien

      Mrs. Maziekien, 78, of Marlboro, died Dec. 20, 2006, at home. She grew up in Marlboro and graduated from Freehold High School, Freehold Borough. Prior to retiring, she was employed by New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. and Verizon for 29 years. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Rose of Lima No. 737, Freehold, and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She also bowled in the Howell Lanes leagues. Mrs. Maziekien is survived by her husband of 54 years, John; three sons and two daughters-in-law, John Maziekien III of Manasquan, Lee and Ginger Maziekien of Howell, and Joseph T. Maziekien and Beth Collington of Cookstown; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Inez and Jim Dickson of Galloway, Mary-Ellen and Glenn Pollinger of Brick, and Louise Anne Maziekien, at home; two brothers and sisters-in-law, R. Kenneth and Elizabeth Conover of Freehold, and J. Ellard and Marion Conover of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; a sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Roy Davis of Eatonton, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Iris M. Maziekien of Wall Township; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel's Church, followed by interment at the parish cemetery.       Gustave Lomartire

      Mr. Lomartire, 89, of The Villages, Howell, died Jan. 5, 2007, at Bartley Manor Convalescent Center, Jackson. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had resided there before moving to Howell 10 years ago. Prior to retiring, he was a clerk for the U.S. Navy. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are a son, Paul Lomartire; a daughter, Julie Larsen; his companion, Carmen Ortiz, along with her three children, Mildred Lennett, Jody Alvino and Jennifer Feeney, and six grandchildren; a sister, Josephine Valenti; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, N.Y. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

      Julie Mafera

      Mrs. Mafera, 89, of Howell, died Dec. 20, 2006, at CareOne at Wall, Wall Township. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Mrs. Mafera was predeceased in 1986 by her husband, John Mafera. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Michael Merola of Freehold Township; and two grandchildren, Constance and Andrew. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

      William D. Long

      Mr. Long, 81, of Colts Neck, died Dec. 19, 2006, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He was born on Sept. 21, 1925, in Richmond, Va., to Edgar and Irene Honeycutt Long. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1943 and was honorably discharged in 1946. After the war, he worked for J.J. Newberry Co. and later, following a merger, with McCrory Corp. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 54, Freehold, the Free & Accepted Masons, Van Nuys Lodge No. 450, California, and the Colts Neck Senior Citizens Club. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Long; two sons, Bruce Long of Neptune and Thomas Long of Barnegat; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Tarnowski of Toms River, and Carol and David Provow of Alpharetta, Ga.; a half-sister, Betsy Razzi of Falls Church, Va., and her husband, Guy; five grandchildren; a niece and nephew in Virginia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Burial took place at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

      Edna M. Lawson

      Mrs. Lawson, 96, of Howell, died Dec. 17, 2006, at the John L. Montgomery Care Center, Freehold Township. Born in Pittsburgh, she had lived in Jersey City before moving to Howell in 1972. She was a concert pianist and played the organ at many churches in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Lawson was predeceased by her husband, David, in 1964. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Arlene Lawson of Howell, and a granddaughter, Wendy. A graveside service was held at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, with Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, in charge of arrangements.

      Annie Mulholland

      Mrs. Mulholland, 78, of Freehold, died Jan. 9, 2007, at home. Born in Englishtown, she had resided in Freehold since 1947. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Mrs. Mulholland was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Mulholland, in 2000. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Timothy Mulholland, at home, and Richard and Deborah Mulholland of Freehold Township; five daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Thomas Mailly of St. Petersburg, Fla., Nancy and Robert Forman of Manasquan, Susan and Walter Dill of South Pasadena, Fla., Cindy and Richard Chocolate of Hamden, Conn., and Robin and John Barber of Brick Township; a brother, John Vitomski of Englishtown; a sister, Jennie Mount of Freehold; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.

      Carl "Hubble" Height

      Mr. Height, 82, of Freehold, died Jan. 2, 2007, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Born in Freehold, he was a lifelong area resident and had most recently resided at Pine Brook Care Center in Manalapan. He attended the Court Street School in Freehold before going to work for Scudder Silvers in 1944. He was later employed by White & Snyder and then Duckett & Laird prior to retiring in 2001. Mr. Height was predeceased by two brothers. A graveside service was held at Forest Green Cemetery, Marlboro, with the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, in charge of arrangements.

      Antoinette Roebling Bunce Schildge

      Mrs. Schildge, 96, of Middletown, died Jan. 1, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she resided there before moving to Middletown in 1942. Mrs. Schildge was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Middletown, and a member of the Navesink Garden Club, Navesink section of Middletown. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Adam T. Schildge, in 1993; and a daughter-in-law, Cathy Schildge. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Antonia S. Malone and John Rafter of Middletown, and Elvira and George Maniatty of Allentown, Pa.; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Adam T. Schildge Jr. of San Francisco, George H. and Janie Schildge of Colts Neck, Richard L. of the Wayside section of Ocean Township, and Ronald F. and Lyn Schildge of Glen Gardener; 21 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Christ Church. Burial was at Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo section of Middletown. Arrangements were by the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.       Thomas J. Kennedy

      Mr. Kennedy, 79, of Whiting and Freehold Township, died Jan. 1, 2007, at Bartley Healthcare Nursing & Rehabilitation, Jackson. Born in the Parlin section of Sayreville, he had lived most of his life in South Amboy before moving to Whiting 15 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1989, Mr. Kennedy worked in the maintenance department for the N.J. Highway Authority in Cape May for more than 16 years, and had previously been a finisher for DuPont in Sayreville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8745, both of Whiting. Mr. Kennedy is survived by a sister, Dorothy Kelley of Freehold Township; three nieces and one nephew. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.

      Carl "Hubble" Height

      Gennaro Romeo Di Santillo

      Mr. Di Santillo, 82, of Freehold Township, died Jan. 3, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Italy, he had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Freehold 30 years ago. He was a restaurateur who owned many eating establishments in both New Jersey and Italy. He was also a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Mr. Di Santillo was predeceased by his wife, Stella Pasqualina, in 2001. Surviving are a daughter, Alessandra Esposito of the Morganville section of Marlboro; four sons, Nicola Di Santillo of Howell, Antonio Di Santillo of Morganville, Biagio Di Santillo of Freehold and Giuseppe Di Santillo of Florida; two brothers and a sister, all of Italy; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by entombment at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.
