      Connie M. DeRasmo

      Mrs. DeRasmo, 92, of Holmdel, died April 30 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. Born in Newark, she resided in Keansburg, prior to moving to Holmdel three years ago. She was a retired customer service representative at People's National Bank, Keyport. She was a member of Keansburg Senior Center, and the Golden Agers, Keansburg. She was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Union. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel in 1977. She is survived by two daughters, Rose Kaiser of Hazlet, and Gaye Peters of Freehold; two brothers, Salvatore Pisciotta of Hazlet, and Charles Pisciotta of Waretown; five grandsons; and 10 great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy will be May 3 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements are by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.

      Jeanette Recca Consort

      Mrs. Consort, 98, of Brick, died April 11 at Burnt Tavern Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Brick. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived in Brick for eight years and had previously resided in Atlantic Highlands. Prior to retiring at the age of 79, she was a chemical file clerk for International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), New York City, for 25 years. She was an active volunteer during World War II. She was also a communicant of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Atlantic Highlands, and a choir member at St. Rocco's Roman Catholic Church, Brooklyn. Mrs. Consort was predeceased in 1991 by her husband, Charles Scwartz Jr. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Conda Gallina and Eugene Keller of Brick; a brother-in-law, Cmdr. Arthur E. Sorrenson of Brooklyn; a granddaughter and her husband, Brenda and Craig Klafter of Manalapan; a grandson and his wife, John and Marianne Gallina of Atlantic Highlands; and a great-grandson and great-granddaughter. Funeral services were held at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial took place at Mount Olivet Cemetery, also Middletown. A memorial funeral liturgy will be celebrated at a later date.

      Herbert Paul Parisi

      Mr. Parisi, 77, of Staten Island, N.Y., a retired chief engineer who served in the Navy during the Korean War, died April 12 at Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze section of Staten Island. Born in the Port Richmond section of Staten Island, he graduated from McKee High School and studied engineering at the former Staten Island Community College. A licensed refrigeration and high-pressure steam engineer, he worked for close to 30 years as a chief engineer at several colleges in the City University system of New York, retiring in 1986. He served in the U.S. Navy as a petty officer second class from 1948 to 1952. Mr. Parisi was a member of the St. Bernardino's Association, an Italian social club. He was also a member of the Dongan Hills chapter of AARP and the New Brighton Senior Center. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Staten Island. Mr. Parisi is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edith; a son, Herbert Parisi Jr. of Marlboro; a daughter, Linda Vivenzio of Millstone; a brother, Edward Parisi of Old Bridge; a sister, Louise Dawson of Rhode Island; and four grandchildren.

      Rosemarie DiLauro

      Mrs. DiLauro, 83, of Freehold Township, died April 15 at home. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., she lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Freehold Township eight years ago. Mrs. DiLauro was an accounts receivable clerk for Tiffany & Co., New York City. She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Mrs. DiLauro was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, in 1989. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Garland and Susan DiLauro of Las Vegas; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Steven Sullivan of Freehold Township; a brother and four sisters; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two step-granddaughters. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

      Edith Sorin

      Mrs. Sorin, 84, of Freehold Township, died April 15 at Concord Health Care, Lakewood. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived in Long Island, N.Y., and St. Louis before moving to Freehold Township in 1966. Before her retirement in 1993, Mrs. Sorin was a bookkeeper for the N.J. Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped at its Old Bridge and Toms Rivers offices. She was a member of the Democratic Party in Freehold Township and a former member of Hadassah in Manalapan. She also was a former 4-H leader. Mrs. Sorin was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin, in 1974. She is survived by her son and his partner, David Sorin and Thomas C. Alexander of Howell. The funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at New Montifiore Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.

      Victor Paris

      Mr. Paris, 78, of Freehold, died April 17 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was formerly a resident of Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr. Paris served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1948. He is survived by his wife, Philomena Esposito Paris; a daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Al Catalano of Freehold; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kim Paris of Marlboro; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. The funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, with Cantor Wayne Siet officiating. Interment followed at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown, Burlington County. Memorial donations may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, 111 Broadway, 19th Floor, New York, NY 10006.

      Albert D. Albrizio Sr.

      Mr. Albrizio, 84, of Freehold, died April 18 at Care One at Holmdel. Born in Hoboken, he had lived in Jersey City and Fort Lee before moving to Freehold in 1992. Mr. Albrizio was the owner of Regal Oldsmobile Car Dealership, Union City, for 35 years, retiring in 1992. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, European theater. Mr. Albrizio is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen Albrizio; a son and daughter-in-law, Albert Jr. and Judy Albrizio of Paramus; a daughter, Sharon Parinello of Freehold; a brother, Arthur J. Albrizio, and a sister, Valerie Albrizio, both of Fort Lee; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was private.

      Norma Lilias Surhoff

      Mrs. Surhoff, 72, of Manalapan, died April 18 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Born in Scotland, she moved to the United States in 1955 and resided in Union and Whiting before moving to Manalapan eight months ago. Mrs. Surhoff was a dental assistant and receptionist in the Summit area for 20 years before retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Ocean County Women's Cosmopolitan Cub. Mrs. Surhoff was predeceased by her husband, Henry, in 1999. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Karen Surhoff of Union, and Peter and Lina Surhoff of Manalapan; and five grandchildren. The funeral service was held at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank 07701.

      Emma Weisgold

      Mrs. Weisgold, 90, formerly of Freehold, died April 18 at Sunrise Senior Living, East Brunswick. Born in New York City, she had resided in Freehold for many years before moving to Lakewood. Mrs. Weisgold was predeceased by her husband, Irving, in 1985. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Ronnie and Edward Mendlowitz of East Brunswick, and Lois Weisgold and Bert Schwartz of Freehold; and two grandsons. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Hebrew Benefit Society Cemetery, Freehold.

      Virginia Irvine

      Mrs. Irvine, 91, of Howell, died April 19 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Freehold, where she lived until moving to Howell four years ago. Mrs. Irvine worked for the Board of Taxation of Monmouth County until her retirement in 1982. Prior to that, she was employed by her brother at Old Monmouth Candies, Freehold. She was a member of the Reformed Church of Freehold and a member of Molly Pitcher Chapter 198 Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Irvine was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth, in 1994; a son, Kenneth W. in 1951; a daughter, Gail Wood, in 2000; and a brother, Warren Prest, in 1999. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Russell Campbell of Howell; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Interment took place at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township, under the direction of the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold. Memorial donations may be made to the Reformed Church of Freehold, 67 W.       John H. Sierra

      Mr. Sierra, 72, of Howell, died April 19 at home. Born in New York City, he resided in Middletown, prior to moving to Howell seven years ago. He was a foreman at CNS/RPS, Edison, for several years. He was predeceased by a son, Edwin Sierra; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Sierra. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Luz Sierra; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and John Lepard of Middletown; two sons and one daughter-in-law, John Sierra, and David and Sandy Sierra, all of Middletown; a daughter-in-law, Miriam Sierra of Middletown; a sister, Alice Camacho of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren. A funeral service was held at New Monmouth Baptist Church, Middletown. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.

      Frances M. Bisignano

      Mrs. Bisignano, 67, of Manalapan, died April 22 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., Staten Island, Howell and Old Bridge before moving to Manalapan in 1992. Mrs. Bisignano was a homemaker. She was a member of the John Birch Society in Staten Island and a lifelong Republican Conservative. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis J. Bisignano, in 1994; and a son, Michael, in 1996. Mrs. Bisignano is survived by four sons, Louis Jr. of Jackson, Larry of Bayville, John of Manalapan and Joseph of Jamesburg; a daughter, Lisa Egan of Howell; a brother, William Ford of Detroit; seven sisters, Jean Rost of Manalapan, Barbara Patton of Hightstown, Marion Nistad of Hawley, Pa., Patricia Salerno of Maryland, and Nancy Viniscofski, Ruth Thomason and Linda Ford, all of Staten Island; and 13 grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Lakewood, followed by entombment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, was in charge of arrangements.

      Warren A. Brown

      Mr. Brown, 77, of Newtown, Pa., formerly of Manalapan, died April 22 at St. Mary's Hospital, Newtown. He was brought up in Roselle Park but lived much of his adult life in Manalapan, where he and his wife raised seven children. Prior to retiring 16 years ago from his position as a consultant with Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Arabian Oil Co., he had been the owner-operator of W.A. Brown Fabricators & Welders, Linden. Following his retirement, he pursued his love of traveling to exotic places. Mr. Brown was an avid reader, as well as a former dancer on the "Arthur Murray Dance Party" musical variety television show of the 1950s. He was predeceased by an older brother, Donald Brown. Surviving are his wife, Anne; five sons, Robert Brown of Denver, Roy Brown of Philadelphia, David Brown of Lakewood, Dr. Mark Brown of Newtown and Lester Brown of Clearwater, Fla.; two daughters, Eileen Brown Davis of Richmond, Va., and Kathleen Brown Baratta of Freehold Township; a sister, Judy Strack of Bayville; a brother, Roy Brown of Summerfield, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren. Interment took place at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. Swartz Givnish Funeral Home, Newtown, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Civil Liberties Union.

      John "Jack" Patrick Kelleher

      Mr. Kelleher, 68, of Freehold, died April 23 at home. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he had lived there and in Bloomingdale, Passaic County, before moving to Freehold in 2000. Mr. Kelleher was an inspector in the property protection division for Con Edison, Bronx. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served during the Korean War. He was a former parishioner of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Butler. Mr. Kelleher was predeceased by a sister, Noreen Kelleher. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margaret M. Murphy Kelleher; a son, John Patrick Kelleher of Las Vegas; two daughters, Kerri Ann Kelleher-Lombardi of Lincoln Park and Kathleen Kelleher-Chiocchi of Highland Lakes; a sister, Peggy Van Kluyve of Garnerville, N.Y.; and two granddaughters. A funeral service was offered at St. Anthony's Church, followed by interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Butler. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.

      Joseph Hendrickson

      Mr. Hendrickson, 94, of Freehold, died April 24 at home. He was born in Howell and had resided there until moving to Freehold 65 years ago. Mr. Hendrickson was a carpenter and senior maintenance worker for the Borough of Freehold before his retirement in 1984. He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn Marriner Hendrickson, in 1993. Surviving are two sons, Edward J. Hendrickson, and his wife, Pam, of Williams, Ariz., and Wayne Hendrickson, and his companion, Ruth Brown, of Farmingdale; a sister, Dorothy Smith of Missouri; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.       Joseph Gerard Opramolla

      Mr. Opramolla, 46, of Aberdeen, died April 24 at home. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he had been a resident of Aberdeen for the past 38 years. Mr. Opramolla was a bus driver for the Academy Bus Co. and the Milu Bus Co., Cliffwood section of Aberdeen. He was also certified as a casino blackjack dealer. He served as an altar boy as a child at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, Matawan. Mr. Opramolla is survived by his parents, Florence and Joseph A. Opramolla of Aberdeen; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Chuck of Aberdeen, and Paul and Anne Marie of Freehold; one niece and one nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Clement's Church. The Waitt-Nelms Funeral Home, Morganville, was in charge of arrangements.       Theresa Krushinski

      Mrs. Krushinski, 73, of Freehold, died April 25 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Plains, Pa., she had lived in Woodbridge, Lincroft and Red Bank before moving to Freehold 16 years ago. Mrs. Krushinski was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Freehold Township. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Frank Krushinski Jr.; two sons, Frank Krushinski III of Merchantville and Carl F. Krushinski of Cream Ridge; a daughter, Elaine Johnson of Brandon, Fla.; a sister, Lorraine Banas of Mountain Top, Pa.; and eight grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold, Township, with the Rev. Jeffrey Philhower officiating.       Dorothy Frances Schneider

      Mrs. Schneider, 87, of Marlboro, died April 25 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born and raised in Staten Island, N.Y., and moved to Greenbriar, Marlboro, in 1981. She attended Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., for two years before the Great Depression caused her to leave, and she then began secretarial studies at Drake Business School. Mrs. Schneider was a secretary at the Maxwell House tea packing plant in Brooklyn, N.Y., and later was secretary for the trade association of the tea packing and importing industry. After raising a family, she returned to work as a secretary in the New York City school system, retiring in 1975 as secretary to the principal of New Dorp High School, Staten Island. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. Mrs. Schneider is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank; a son, Francis Thomas of Kirkland, Wash.; a daughter, Susan D. Richardson of Old Bridge; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Gabriel's Church, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro.       Patricia Ann Loock

      Mrs. Loock, 65, of Colts Neck, died April 27 at University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia. Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she had lived there before moving to Colts Neck 29 years ago. Mrs. Loock was a bus driver for the Freehold Regional High School District for the past 23 years. She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Loock Jr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard L. and Tina Loock of Brick; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Wayne Potochar of Freehold Township, and Sandra and Scott Appleby of Parlin; two sisters, Mary Ann Marcario of Colts Neck and Leonara Cosgrove of Staten Island; and four grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.

      John E. Thomas

      Mr. Thomas, 81, of Manalapan, died April 27 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in New London, Conn., he moved to Manalapan 38 years ago. Before his retirement in 1990, Mr. Thomas was an electric shop teacher for 28 years at Essex County Vocational High School, Bloomfield. He served for 20 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a senior chief. He was a 1971 graduate of Rutgers College, New Brunswick. He was a communicant of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan. Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Adelaide; a daughter, Janet A. Robinson of Manalapan; two sons and a daughter-in-law, James E. and Astrid Thomas, and John C. Thomas, all of Manalapan; and one grandson. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Thomas More Church, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. The Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.

      Patricia A. Bello

      Mrs. Bello, 62, of Freehold Township, died April 29 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Clifton, she had lived there before moving to Freehold Township 24 years ago. Mrs. Bello was an administrative assistant for Monmouth Cardiology Associates, Freehold Township. She was also a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Nicholas F. Bello of Howell, and John August Bello and Shannon Bello of Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Suzanne Kukene of North Carolina; a devoted friend, Frannie Ransom of Jackson; and her former husband, John Louis Bello of Freehold.       Eugene T. Dougherty

      Mr. Dougherty, 84, of Freehold, died April 29 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Plymouth, Pa., he had lived in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and Teaneck before moving to Freehold 46 years ago. He was an insurance agent for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., who later worked for the Central Jersey Bank & Trust Co., Freehold, as a safe deposit officer until he retired. A U.S. Navy Air Force veteran, he served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was also a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Surviving are his wife, Rita Collins Dougherty; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Marsha Dougherty of Gainesville, Fla., and Eugene R. and Ronnie Dougherty of Freehold; a brother, Vincent Dougherty of Plymouth; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church. Entombment took place at St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum in Wilkes-Barre. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.       Victoria Pennetti Rappa

      Mrs. Rappa, 90, of Freehold, died April 29 at home. Born in North Arlington, she had lived in Matawan and Ocala, Fla., before moving to Freehold six years ago. She was active in breeding, raising and showing collies and Shetland sheep dogs from 1947 until 1975, when she retired. She also owned and operated a day-care center in Matawan. During her retirement, she acquired a great deal of knowledge and skill in the breeding and care of canaries. While in Florida, Mrs. Rappa was a member of the West Marion Moose Lodge No. 2356, Ocala, where she was a senior regent of Chapter No. 1929 for two years, from 1992-93. She was also a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township. She was predeceased by a sister, Iva Englemann, and five brothers, Angelo, Alexander, Lesander, Chester and Aloisious Pennetti. Surviving are her husband, Stephen J. Rappa; three daughters and a son-in-law, Elaine Farrell Quillin and Walter Quillin of Benicia, Calif., Colleen Farrell Walker of Old Bridge and Victoria Farrell Dorsch of Beloit, Kan.; a son and daughter-in-law, William W. and Ann Farrell of Hopkinsville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Keyport, followed by entombment at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Central Jersey, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank 07701.

      Michael A. Schultz

      Mr. Schultz, 34, of Manalapan, died April 29 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Rahway, he was a lifelong resident of Manalapan. A graduate of Manalapan High School and Nashville Auto-Diesel College (NADC) in Nashville, Tenn., he was an ironworker for the John Cooper Co., Hackensack, and a member of Ironworkers Local Union 697, Roanoke, Va. He was also a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, and a member of Sons of The American Legion, both of Englishtown. Mr. Schultz was predeceased in 1992 by her husband, Joseph W. Schultz Sr, and in 1987 by a brother, Kevin Schultz. Surviving are his mother, Helen Gorton Schultz of Manalapan; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph W. Jr. and Rena Schultz of Freehold; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Neil Glasser of Monroe; and five nieces and nephews.

      Susan Rolio Guinter

      Mrs. Guinter, 81, of Potomac Falls, Va., died May 1 in Leesburg, Va., Born in Morristown, she had lived most of her life in Freehold before moving to Potomac Falls. Before her retirement, Mrs. Guinter was employed in the ShopRite Foodarama Security Division. She was a volunteer in the medical records department of CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, for 10 years. Mrs. Guinter is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bernard Guinter; two sons, Stephen of Potomac Falls and Brian of Northbrook, Ill.; two brothers, Luke Rolio of Morristown and Angelo "Sunny" Rolio of Florida; a sister, Marion Catizone of Palm Springs, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
