Linda B. Suydam Lawnik Mrs. Lawnik, 54, of Sayreville, formerly of Marlboro, died Nov. 30 at home. She was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Marvin Suydam. Surviving are her husband, Thomas F. Lawnik; three children, Lindsay Lawnik of East Brunswick, and Katie Lawnik and Evan Lawnik, both at home; two brothers, Marvin Suydam of Millstone and Chris Suydam of Marlboro; a sister, Wendy Leber of Marlboro; and a granddaughter. Services were held at Sayrewoods Bible Church, Old Bridge. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, New Brunswick, or to the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Oncology Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, also New Brunswick. Rosemary Florence Canino Mrs. Canino, 71, of Marlboro, died Dec. 11 at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation, Red Bank. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived in Marlboro for the past 18 years. Mrs. Canino was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles; two daughters and a son-in-law, Florence and Joe Asciolla of Marlboro, and Maria Oliva of North Middletown; and four grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Church, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, Marlboro. Jennie L. Krystoff Mrs. Krystoff, 95, of the Adelphia section of Howell, died Dec. 14 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Bridgehampton, N.Y., she had lived in Adelphia since 1945. Mrs. Krystoff was employed at the Brockway Glass Co., Freehold, for 22 years before retiring in 1977. She was predeceased by her husband, William C. Krystoff, in 1984; a daughter, Carol Trojan, in 1997; two sons-in-law, Frank J. Trojan and Daniel R. Bailey Jr.; four brothers, Frank, Charles, Edward and Anthony Kominski; and a sister, Constance Glowacki. Mrs. Krystoff is survived by a daughter, Doris A. Bailey of Adelphia; four grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at Our Lady of Poland Church, Southampton, N.Y., followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Southampton, N.Y. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
Joan Kelleher Mrs. Kelleher, 73, of Matawan, died Dec. 16 at home. Born in Long Island, N.Y., she resided in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Matawan 27 years ago. She was employed at the Matawan Public Library and the Matawan office of the New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles. Prior to that, Mrs. Kelleher was a department manager at Macy’s for 30 years, retiring in 1995. She was also involved for several years with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Michael Kelleher Sr., in 1995. Mrs. Kelleher is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Debbie Kelleher of Hazlet; a daughter and son-in-law, Deirdre and Mark Dellert of Marlboro; a brother and sister, Patrick Joseph Maloney and Bernadette Quinn, both of California; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport, followed by interment at the church cemetery. The Waitt-Nelms Funeral Home, Morganville, was in charge of arrangements. Nancy Carol Mincey Mrs. Mincey, 40, of Farmingdale, died Dec. 16 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Perth Amboy and had lived in Brick before moving to Farmingdale five years ago. A 1984 graduate of Madison Central High School, Old Bridge, she was an associate for Wal-Mart for seven years and had most recently worked at the store in Neptune. Mrs. Mincey was predeceased by her parents, Eleanor and Clifford Adkins. Surviving are three daughters, Sheila and Sarah Mincey, and Josie Lynn Colonna, all at home; two sons, Samuel Mincey, also at home, and Pfc. David Mincey, U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Air Station New River in North Carolina; two brothers, Robert and Clifford; four sisters, JoAnn, Susann, Elinor and Christina; her partner of 14 years, Andrew Colonna of Wall Township; four nieces; four nephews; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral service was held at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Interment was private.
Lena Bonner Mrs. Bonner, 77, of Stuart, Fla., died Dec. 18 at the Hospice of Martin and St. Lucie County, Stuart, after having a stroke on Dec. 5. Born and raised in Newark, she had lived in Freehold since 1971 before moving to Florida in November. She was an active volunteer for the Open Door food bank in Freehold for many years. Mrs. Bonner was predeceased in 1996 by her husband, Neil Richard Bonner. Surviving are three sons, Neil Bonner of Fairfax, Va., Michael Bonner of Freehold and Jeffrey Bonner of Allentown, Pa.; a daughter, Wynne Vicini of Stuart; three brothers, Tom, Joseph and Augie; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
Dorothy E. Siemiaszko Mrs. Siemiaszko, 67, of Freehold Township, died Dec. 25 at the Summerhill Nursing Center, Old Bridge. She was born in Matawan and had lived in South River for many years before moving to Freehold Township. Mrs. Siemiaszko was an insurance underwriter for Northeast Insurance Services, Marlboro. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Eberle. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence J. Siemiaszko; a daughter, Cheryl Ondris of Great Neck, N.Y.; a sister, Barbara Eppinger of Riverside, Calif.; and a grandson. A memorial service will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1 North, North Brunswick 08902.
