Frank Charles LiSanti Mr. LiSanti, 64, of Manalapan, died Oct. 24 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in New York, he had lived in the Bronx, N.Y., before moving to Manalapan 40 years ago. He was a self-employed structural engineer in Manalapan. Surviving are his wife, Virginia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Caroline LiSanti of Old Bridge, and Daniel and Joanna LiSanti of North Arlington; a daughter and son-in-law, Daleann and Ryder Ulon of Manalapan; a sister, Joyce LiSanti of the Bronx; and a granddaughter, Alysia. A funeral service was held at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, followed by interment.
Estelle Emma Royle Mrs. Royle, 95, of Plantsville, Conn., died Oct. 27. Born in Lynbrook, N.Y., she had lived in the Morganville section of Marlboro before moving to Connecticut in 2001. Mrs. Royle worked for the W.T. Grant Co. as a buyer until her retirement in 1960. She and her husband also owned and operated the Royle Tennis and Pool Club, Morganville. Her ancestor, Capt. John Seaman, was the original owner of Jones Beach in Long Island, N.Y., along with the Watts family. She is survived by a nephew; a niece; two great-nieces; and a great-great-niece. Private funeral services were held in Morganville. The Plantsville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Philip J. Boyce Mr. Boyce, 52, of Manalapan, died Oct. 28 in Jamesburg. Born in Jersey City, he had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Manalapan 20 years ago. Mr. Boyce was an assembly line worker for General Motors, Linden, for 30 years. He also was a coach for several sports organizations, especially for basketball, soccer and wrestling. He was a member of United Auto Workers. Mr. Boyce is survived by his wife of 28 years, Barbara, a son, Thomas, and a daughter, Shannon, all of Manalapan; his mother, Mary Boyce of Lakewood; and two brothers, John and Danny Boyce, both of Parlin. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Bernadette’s Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. The Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, was in charge of arrangements.
Angela Reyes-Iglesia Mrs. Reyes-Iglesia, 45, of Freehold, died Oct. 30 at her home. She is survived by her husband, Bob Iglesia, and their children, Angelicia and Alexandria; her parents, Bernardino C. and Alice Reyes; three brothers, Sean, Birdie and Jory; and her sisters, Cara, Rhea, Aisha and Yasmin. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township, with the Rev. Edgar Abano officiating. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
John Joseph “Jack” McCaffrey Mr. McCaffrey, 64, of Freehold Township, died Oct. 31 at home. Born in New York City, he had resided in Manalapan before moving to Freehold Township eight years ago. Prior to retiring, he was a transportation manager for American Express, New York City. Surviving are his wife, Bambina Caruso McCaffrey; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert and Diane McCaffrey of East Brunswick, and Peter and Jonathan McCaffrey, both of Freehold Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Maryann and Joseph Cilea of Marlboro; two brothers, Robert McCaffrey of Brooklyn, N.Y., and William McCaffrey of New York City; and five grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements. Dorothy Lynne Fullerton Mrs. Fullerton, 56, of Freehold Township, died Nov. 1 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Mrs. Fullerton was a middle school French teacher for the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District. She was a graduate of Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pa., and earned her master’s degree in French at the University of Michigan. She was predeceased by her father, Frank Giustra. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Robert Fullerton; a son, Timothy; a daughter, Kristy; her mother, Dorothy Giustra; six brothers, Frank, Peter, Richard, Robert, Dennis and Michael; and two sisters, Mary Lou Scardapane and Donna Appel. A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Chapel, Freehold. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Madeline Ehrich Lancaster Mrs. Lancaster, 99, of Applewood Estates, Freehold Township, died Oct. 9 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Jersey City, she had lived in Springfield before moving to Freehold Township 15 years ago. Prior to retiring, she and her husband were the owners of Lancaster Electric Service for 18 years, a contracting business located in Springfield. She was a member and deacon of both the Springfield Presbyterian Church and the First Presbyterian Church of Freehold. Mrs. Lancaster attended The Juilliard School in New York City. She was an organist for several churches and served as grand organist for Order of the Eastern Star (OES) of New Jersey. She organized both the Young at Heart Singers of Springfield and the Applewood Singers of Freehold Township. She was a member of the OES Springtime Chapter, Springfield; a founder of the Ladies’ Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Battlehill Post No. 7783 and the Ladies’ Auxiliary of American Legion Post No. 221, both of Springfield; a charter member of the Springfield Woman’s Club; an active member of the Springfield First Aid Squad and the Springfield Senior Citizens Club; a charter member of the Union County Senior Citizens; a member of the Springfield Historical Society and the Mayor’s Commission; and a chairwoman for the Heritage Committee of Springfield’s bicentennial celebration. In addition, Mrs. Lancaster was honored in 1980 as Springfield’s Citizen of the Year, and in 1990 was the first person to receive a key to the town of Springfield. She had also been active in various capacities at Applewood Estates. Mrs. Lancaster was predeceased by her husband, George W., in 1968. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald C. and Carole Weiss of Pottersville; four grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Hollywood Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Union. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements. Leonard Robinson Mr. Robinson, 72, of Freehold, died Nov. 3 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Bainbridge, Ga., he had lived in Hastings, Fla., before moving to Freehold in 1977. Mr. Robinson was a production worker for Colonial Poultry, Freehold Township. Surviving are two brothers, Willie Robinson and Johnnie Robinson; and a sister, Emma Prince. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m., followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
Benjamin Perchuk Mr. Perchuk, 85, of Old Bridge, formerly of Hackensack, died Sept. 6 at Summer Hill Nursing Home, Old Bridge. Born in Poland, he had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to New Jersey. Mr. Perchuk was predeceased by his wife, Mildred, in 2005. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Linda Perchuk of Manalapan, and Jeffrey Perchuk of Brooklyn; and two grandchildren, Eric and Tara. A graveside service was held at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.
