      On Campus

      Marissa D’Ambrosio of English-town was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Temple University, Philadelphia.

      Johnson & Wales University, Providence, R.I., named the following local students to the spring semester dean’s list:

      Freehold residents Kristin Canto, Alyssa D’Esposito and Amy Lederman; Howell residents Jennifer Caprio, Lauren Franklin, Vanessa Gonzalez, Joseph Iannacone, Joseph Korman and Larissa Steinberg; Nicole Libretti and Brett Pluskalowski, both of Manalapan; and, from Marlboro, Alana Mermer and Krista Riegler.

      Drew University, Madison, named the following local students to the spring semester dean’s list: Corey L. Cusack of Englishtown; Daniel C. Wehrle and Michelle M. Roche, both of Freehold; Paul R. Aufiero, Cristina M. Klymasz and Julie R. Strain, all of Howell; and Danielle N. Lilonsky of Marlboro.

      James Pasch of Manalapan was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Vermont, Burlington. He is a political science major.

      Michael Hertz, son of Janet and Howard Hertz of Marlboro, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware, Newark, Del. He also received a 2005 Honors Program Special Scholarship for the 2005-06 academic year. He is a 2003 graduate of Rutgers Preparatory School, Somerset.

      Michael A. Archer, son of Karen and Ron Archer of Freehold Township, has graduated from the University of Scranton, Scranton, Pa., with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He also was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester and was inducted in Beta Beta Beta biology honor society. He is a 2001 graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft. He will attend Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa., to pursue his doctorate.

      Springfield College, Springfield, Mass, has awarded degrees to the following graduates from the local area: Kenneth Kosza of Freehold, bachelor of science degree; and Jamie Shapiro of Manalapan, master of science degree.

      Adam J. Weiss, son of Diana and Jeffrey Weiss of Manalapan, has been accepted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society at Penn State University, State College, Pa. He also has been inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and is a dean’s list student.

      Jaclyn Haar, daughter of Robin and Irving Haar of Marlboro, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Brandeis University, Waltham, Mass.

      Hayley Schertz, daughter of Laurie and David Schertz of Manalapan, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the School of Art and Design, The New York State College of Ceramics, at Alfred University, Alfred, N.Y.

      Scott M. Graham of Marlboro has earned a bachelor of arts degree from Albright College, Reading, Pa., where he majored in sociology/criminology. He is a graduate of Marlboro High School.
