      Samantha Reardon

      Ms. Reardon, 21, of Ormond Beach, Fla., died Dec. 15 at Hospice Center of Port Orange, Fla. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived in Ormond Beach for the past 11 years. Ms. Reardon is survived by her mother and stepfather, Louise and Robert Duval, of Ormond Beach; her father and stepmother, Edward and Lisa Reardon, of Freehold Township; two brothers, Thomas, of Ormond Beach and Edward, of Freehold Township; and a sister, Alyssa, of Freehold Township. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Chapel, Freehold. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

      Marian R. White

      Mrs. White, 76, of Middletown, died Dec. 15. Born in Jersey City, she resided there prior to moving to Middletown six years ago. She was a retired clerk at Hudson County Welfare Department, where she was employed 15 years. She is survived by her former husband, Donald White of Ridgefield Park; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Dolores White Jr. of Glen Rock, Richard and Mary White of Kearny, and Robert and Ann White of Manalapan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Joseph Ilian of Chicago, and Janet and Gregory White-DePaul of Matawan; and eight grandchildren. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.

      Adeline M. Valenti

      Mrs. Valenti, 82, of Manalapan died Dec. 15 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived in Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Manalapan three years ago. Mrs. Valenti was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Anthony Valenti, in 1980. She is survived by two daughters, Marlene Marzo and Joyce Bialous, both of Manalapan; two brothers, Joseph Spoto, of Brooklyn, and Domenick Spoto, of Staten Island; two sisters, Carmela Zappola, of New Jersey, and Genieve Puccio, of Staten Island; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Englishtown, followed by burial at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island. The Waitt-Nelms Funeral Home, Morganville, was in charge of arrangements.

      Kathleen A. Peppard

      Mrs. Peppard, 77, of Tobyhanna, Pa., died Dec. 21 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Stroudsburg, Pa. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was an active member of St. Ann’s Church in Tobyhanna. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, as well as the Pocono Country Place Social Committee and Board of Directors. Mrs. Peppard was predeceased by her husband, Robert R. Peppard, in August 2002, and her parents, Catherine (McLaughlin) and James Simpson. Surviving are two sons, Mark Peppard, of Piscataway, and Robert W. Peppard, of Freehold; a daughter, Kathleen Peppard Mueller, of Santa Cruz, Calif.; a brother, James Simpson, of Port Jefferson, N.Y.; a sister, Mary Peppard, of Mineola, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Bolock Funeral Home, Paradise Valley, Pa., was in charge of arrangements.

      Joseph John Graziano

      Mr. Graziano, 81, of Marlboro, died Dec. 23 at the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge. Born in College Point, N.Y., he had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Marlboro 11 years ago and was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. A World War II Army veteran, he was a self-employed tool and die maker in Brooklyn prior to retiring in 1991. Mr. Graziano was predeceased in 1995 by his wife, Jennie. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Graziano, of Downers Grove, Ill., and John Graziano, of Staten Island, N.Y.; a daughter, Janet DiMaggio, of Old Bridge; and five grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, Marlboro, followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.

      Kathleen Wollam

      Mrs. Wollam, 84, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, died Dec. 24 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived there before moving to Lincroft eight years ago. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Englishtown, and St. Leo’s Roman Catholic Church, Lincroft. Mrs. Wollam was predeceased in 1994 by her husband, Joseph F. Wollam. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Roseanne and Peter Maresma of Manalapan; a sister, Elizabeth Bleakney of Staten Island, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 58 Main St. Englishtown, at 9:15 a.m. Dec. 29, followed by interment at St. John’s Cemetery, Queens, N.Y. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements.

      Violet A. Yurowski

      Mrs. Yurowski, 68, of Freehold Township, died Dec. 24 at home after courageously battling acute myeloid leukemia for more than a year. Born in Philadelphia, she was a 1955 graduate of Lincoln High School, Philadelphia, where she was a member of the gymnastics team. She was employed by the former Central Jersey Bank & Trust Co., Freehold, for 20 years and was an active member of the Keyport Yacht Club. Mrs. Yurowski was predeceased by her parents, Rose and Thomas Frattone; a sister, Marie Vallorani; and a brother, Anthony Frattone. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, G. Edmund Yurowski; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Eric Yurowski of Keyport, and Daniel and Betsy Yurowski of Barnegat; three grandchildren; and three nieces and a nephew. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by entombment at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum, Freehold Township. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
