      Dara Goldrich, daughter of Lisa and Jay Goldrich, of Marlboro, was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and has been accepted to the Rutgers Business School.

      Melissa Karsh, daughter of Carole and Bill Karsh, of Manalapan, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Maryland, College Park, Md., where she is attending the Philip Merrill College of Journal-ism.

      Rachel L. Weiner, daughter of Bonnie and Alan Weiner, of Marlboro, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the School of Public Affairs at The American University, Washington, D.C.

      David S. Fischer, of Marlboro, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Lehigh University, Beth-lehem, Pa.

      Alison Astalos, daughter of Andrew and Janet Astalos of Freehold Township, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Cook College, Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She is a 2002 graduate of Freehold Township High School.

      Seth Asen, son of Sharon and Jeff Asen, of Manalapan, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Montclair State University, Upper Montclair.

      Stephanie A. Cohen, daughter of Carol and Jerry Cohen, of Marlboro, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at The College of New Jersey, Ewing, where she attends the School of Culture and Society. She is a graduate of Marlboro High School.

      Brian Krause, son of Robin and Jack Krause, of Manalapan, was selected as the 2004-05 Saul Tischler Scholar for the Rutgers Law School, Newark, class of 2006 (day). The award is offered to the student who has demonstrated the highest academic achievement in each class. He has been accepted as a member of the Rutgers Law Review. A 1999 graduate of Manalapan High School, Krause graduated cum laude from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C., in 2003 with a bachelor of arts degree in political science.

      Dara Levine, daughter of Barbara and Marc Levine, of Marlboro, was named to the dean’s list for the fall and spring semesters at the University of Delaware, Newark, Del. She also was recognized in May as a Distinguished Sophomore on Honors Day. She is enrolled in the College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy.

      Jennifer L. Alpert, daughter of Fran and Larry Lubber, of Freehold Township, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Maryland, College Park, Md. She also was inducted in Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education. She is a 2001 graduate of Freehold Township High School.

      Lisa A. Cannizzaro, daughter of Connie and John Cannizzaro, of Freehold, has graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a bachelor of science degree in film studies and creative writing. She is a 2000 graduate of Freehold Township High School.

      Mario (Marc) Bocchino, son of Ed and Carol Bocchino, of Freehold, has graduated from Manhattan College, Riverdale, N.Y., with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. A 2000 graduate of Freehold Township High School, he plans to pursue a master’s degree in civil engineering and construction management at Manhattan College.

      Gerard Gaeta, of Manalapan, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark

      Jessica M. Cohen, daughter of Randy and Steven E. Cohen, of Manal-apan, was chosen by Syracuse (N.Y.) University as a Remembrance Scholar in honor of one of the 36 Syracuse Univer-sity students who died in the Pan-Am 103 bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland. She also was named to the dean’s list. Cohen, a senior at the university’s Newhouse School of Public Communi-cations, is a 2001 graduate of Freehold Township High School’s International Studies Program.
