      Monmouth Girl Scouts slate programs for youths

      Monmouth Council of Girl Scouts will offer several programs for girls at Camp Sacajawea, Route 524, Howell.

      The following programs are for girls in grades one through three:

      “Crazy For Animals” will be held Sept. 27, 4:30-7 p.m. Girls will visit with live animals and play animal charades, participate in a relay race, and make an animal scrapbook to take home. The cost is $5 per girl.

      “Princess Sacajawea” will allow participants to explore the world of Sacajawea, take part in a scavenger hunt, and make an Indian craft, Sept. 28, 4:30-6:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per girl.

      The following programs are for girls in grades four through six:

      “Yoga Yahoo!,” an introductory yoga class, will be held Sept. 29, 4:30-6:30 p.m. The cost is $7 per girl.

      “Baby-sitting 101” will be offered Sept. 30, 4-8 p.m. Participants will learn safety, first aid and child care. All girls will receive their own baby-sitting tote bag and a certificate of completion. The cost is $7 per girl.
