‘55 Alive’ driving class
offered in Manalapan

The Manalapan Township Senior Citi­zen Center, 211 Route 522, has scheduled the AARP "55 Alive Safe Driving" pro­gram to run Oct. 15-16. Participants who complete the two-day program are enti­tled to a car-insurance reduction of 5 per­cent and can receive a two-point re­duc­tion on their driver’s license. The cost for the class is $10, and preregistra­tion is required. To register, call the center at (732) 446-8401.

Borough seniors invited

to free concert Oct. 19

The Classic Memories Band will pre­sent a free concert for the senior citizens of Freehold Borough Oct. 19 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the YMCA Community Cen­ter, located at the Rug Mill.
