      ANTOINETTE DANAPAS, 81, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 19 at the Monmouth County Care Center John L. Montgomery Division, Freehold Township. Born in Raggusso, Italy, she had lived in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Freehold Township in 1988. Mrs. Danapas was an administrative assistant at the Fontbonne Academy, Brooklyn, N.Y., from 1966 to 1984. She was then a bookkeeper for Bay Ridge Medical Supply, Bay Ridge, for four years. Surviving are her husband, William A. Danapas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Karen and George Adjami of Middletown, Jane Danapas of Bay Ridge, and Maria and Clifford Johnson of San Diego; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

      FRED W. DAUM, 88, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 19 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Daum was born in Manalapan, where he lived before moving to Freehold Township. He was a farmer in Manalapan since 1945. He also was the superintendent of the Englishtown Public Works Department from 1966 until his retirement in 1980. He was a 57-year member of Old Tennent Presbyterian Church, Tennent section of Manalapan, where he held all the offices in the church, including deacon, elder and trustee. Mr. Daum was a former 4H leader; a member of the Monmouth County Board of Agriculture, where he was named Young Farmer of the Year; a 20-year member of the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District sBoard of Education, where he served as president for 10 years; a member of the board of directors of the YMCA; a member of Monmouth Grange No. 92; a member of the board of directors of the Production Credit, a farm cooperative; a member of the board of directors of Manalapan Cemetery; and a volunteer at Samaritan Center, Englishtown, and Longstreet Farm, Holmdel. Mr. Daum is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane Ash Daum; three sons, Peter H. Daum of Shoreham, N.Y., Henry Daum of Freehold Township and Roy K. Daum of Wall; two daughters, Carolyn D. Kaempffer of Colts Neck and Linda Brown of Jamestown, R.I.; a brother, George Daum of Seattle; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Old Tennent Church with the Rev. Dr. Hugh A. MacKenzie officiating, followed by interment at the church cemetery.       JAMES THEODORE WALKER, 82, of East Brunswick died Aug. 19 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Mr. Walker served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, East Brunswick. His first wife, Margaret K. Walker, died in 1985. Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Helen Pikul Walker; a son and daughter-in-law, James Scott Walker and Adrianne Spota of Marlboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin Susan and Ronald Taylor of Dallas; four stepchildren; and four grandchildren. A memorial service was held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, East Brunswick. Burial was at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.       JOSEPH CANNICI, 87, of East Brunswick, died Aug. 20 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and a Distinguished Unit Badge with two Oak Leaf Clusters. He was a communi­cant of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, East Brunswick. He was predeceased by five brothers, and two sisters. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Fanny Capitumino Cannici of East Brunswick; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elise and Ted Grosch of Marlboro, Kathy and Matthew Brown of East Brunswick, and Anita and Joseph Sciarrotta of Davie, Fla.; his sister, Minnie DeLuca of Sunrise, Fla.; and four grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick 08902-4301.
