      Artistic youth earns
      spot in Teen Arts

Larisa Lemesevski of Freehold Township, a young artist in Bruce Fallender’s classes at the Adelphia Art Center in Howell, had two works of art accepted in the Monmouth County Teen Arts Festival recently — a mixed media face detailed with acrylic paint and a pencil drawing of hands.

The pencil drawing was sent to the New Jersey State Teen Arts Festival at The College of New Jersey, Ewing.

As one of the artists accepted into the state festival, Larisa was invited to participate in two art workshops at the college, one in clay and the other in wire jewelry design.

Larisa graduated this year from the Eisenhower Middle School. She received two awards for participating in the Monmouth County Teen Arts Festival, and her school art teacher, Lynn Reich, presented her with an award for outstanding achievement in art.
