      EDWARD T. CASLER JR., 61, of Matawan died April 14 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Hoboken, he lived in Toms River and Old Bridge before moving to Matawan 20 years ago. Mr. Casler was an institutional salesman trader on Wall Street for 36 years, beginning his career with C.J. Lawrence, Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Bank, and retiring in 1998 from T.D. Securities of New York City. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Deborah Casler; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward J. and Marcela Casler of Forked River, and Steven M. and Christy Casler of the Morganville section of Marlboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Debra A. and Sean Wozniak of Toms River; a brother, Patrick Casler of Houston; and four grandchildren. Entombment was in Holmdel Mausoleum, Holmdel.       JOAN NEILL LANDMAN, 94, of Freehold Township died April 15 at Applewood Estates, Freehold Township. Born in Finglas, Ireland, the youngest of four sisters, she was raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, and came to the United States in the 1930s. She lived in Tenafly for 40 years before moving to Applewood Estates in 1994 with her husband. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Louis Landman, in 2002. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Sandra Landman of Nashua, N.H., Dr. Steven and Joanne Landman of Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Eric and Victoria Landman of Freehold Township; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.       BIASE "BENNY" MARAZITA, 85, of Howell died April 15 at home. He was born in New York City, and lived in Neptune before moving to Howell in 1952. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was an auto mechanic at Matthews Chevrolet, Farmingdale, for 38 years, retiring in 1980. Following retirement, he worked as a part-time delivery person for Lakewood Auto Parts, Neptune and Lakewood, from 1981 to 1993. He was a member of the Squankum United Methodist Church, Howell. He was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, James and Luigi (Louie) Marazita; and three sisters, Rose Nuzzi, Margaret (Peggy) Graziano and Mary Cruzan. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alma Bills Marazita of Howell; a son, Timothy Marazita of Howell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gwendolyn and Charles Linn of New York, and Susan and Daniel Dennis of Ohio; two sisters, Bridget Erving and Lucia Arcangelo, both of Brick; three sisters-in-law, Margaret Johnson of Ortley Beach, Anna Marazita of Freehold, and Shirley Marazita of North Carolina; three granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.       MARIE SALOME FRANCK, 69, of Marlboro died April 16 at home. She was a communicant and active parishioner of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Manalapan. She is survived by her ex-husband, William; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Cathy of Springboro, Ohio; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Sister Suzanne Franck of West Babylon, N.Y., Carolyn Sullivan of Wantagh, N.Y., Patricia and Jim Florkowski of Jackson, and Maria and John Nash of West Babylon; and nine grandchildren. A mass was offered at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, West Babylon, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn, N.Y.       ADAM A. LUKOIC JR., 83, of Henderson, Nev., died April 16 at St. Rose Hospital, Las Vegas. He was a longtime resident of Colts Neck before moving to Nevada. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a mem­ber of the Colts Neck Fire Company No. 1, and a special officer with the Colts Neck Police De­partment. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Webb-Lukoic; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry of Meridian, Idaho, and Stan and Eliza­beth; a sister, Mae Kowalski, Bayside, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. Interment was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.

      DORIS PRAHL PRICE, 82, of Freehold Township died April 16 at Applewood Estates, Freehold Township. Born in Newark, she lived in Edison for more than 40 years, moving to Freehold Township in 1994. She worked as a dietary aide for John F. Kennedy Medical Cen­ter, Edison, for seven years, retiring in 1985. She was a former communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral, Metuchen. She was prede­ceased by her husband, Donald, in 1976. Sur­viving are a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Linda Price of Kingston, N.Y.; two daugh­ters and sons-in-law, Tamson and John Chanas of Stillwater, and Karen and Michael Bart of Freehold Township; two sisters, Grace Noll of Iselin, and Jean McGotty of Edison; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Borough, fol­lowed by interment in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia.       ROSARIA MAC­CHIARELLA, 81, of Marl­boro died April 17 at her daughter’s home in Mill­stone. Born in Palermo, Sicily, she lived in Queens, N.Y., retired to Mastic Beach, N.Y., and moved to Marlboro two years ago. She was a dressmaker in Queens for many years. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, and her son, Larry. Surviving are two sons, Issy of Free­hold and John of Rock­away Beach, N.Y.; four daughters, Beatrice Gam­bino of Mastic Beach, N.Y., Anna Profaca of Millstone, with whom she lived, and Rosa Reitz and Sylvia Wellons, both of Atlanta, Ga; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Gabriel’s Church, fol­lowed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, Marlboro.

      JOSEPH H. STEEN, 86, of Howell died April 17 at Bartley Health Care Nursing and Rehabilitation, Jackson. He was born in Atlantic Township and lived in Neptune before moving to Howell in 1957. He was a truck driver for Jersey Coast Freight Lines, Neptune, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Teamsters Local 701, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Steen of Howell; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph C. and Maryann Steen of Buena Vista; a daughter, Barbara Van Pelt of Howell; a brother, William Steen of Laurel, Del.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Interment was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.

      WILLIAM EDWARD IVER­SON, 89, of Free­hold died Feb. 18 at CentraState Medical Cen­ter, Freehold Township. He was born in Keyport and lived in Freehold most of his life. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a janitor for 3M, Free­hold Township, before retiring 34 years ago. Prior to that, he was employed at the former A&M Karagheusian Rug Mill and as a correc­tions officer for the Mon­mouth County Correc­tion Insti­tution, both in Freehold. Surviv­ing are his wife, Irene Lloyd Iverson; a son, Ralph Iver­son of Freehold; two brothers, Vincent Paul "Hezzie" Iverson and Ernest "Mike" Iverson, both of Freehold; a sister, Madeline Merrick of Freehold Township; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Interment was in Maple­wood Cemetery, Freehold Township.

      ELIZABETH HANLON DECHER, 75 of Toms River died April 17 at Community Medical Center, Dover Town­ship. She was born in Freehold and lived in Toms River for sev­eral years. She was a nurses aide at Monmouth Medical Center, Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital, and Jersey Shore Medical Center before her re­tirement. Surviving are two sons, William Decher, New Port Richey, Fla., and Bruce Decher, Hazlet; a daughter, Georgia Decher Toms River; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marion and Ellard Conover, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Linda and Gary Clark, Freehold; and seven grandchil­dren. Interment was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.

      PAUL L. TRAVIA SR., 86, of Freehold Township died April 19 at Bartley Manor, Jack­son. Born in Milwaukee, he had lived in Howell and Baldwin, N.Y., before moving to Freehold Township. He was a banker for Chase Manhat­tan Bank, New York, N.Y., where he was em­ployed for 15 years before retiring 25 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife, Angela Gen­tile Travia, in 1994. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Paul L. Jr. and Linda Travia of Freehold Township; a daughter-in-law, Beatrice Travia of Staten Island, N.Y.; seven grandchil­dren; and two great-grandchildren. Interment was in the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, West­bury, N.Y.

      MARY K. FARIELLO, 68, of Freehold Township died April 22 at her daughter’s home in Freehold Township. She was born in Free­hold and was a lifelong resident. She was head of statistics at Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital, Marlboro, where she was employed for 31 years before retiring 11 years ago. She was treasurer of the Silvermead Community Club, Freehold Township. Surviving are her husband, Frank Fariello; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Jo Barrett of Crozet, Va., and her fiancé, James McAllister Jr., Cathy and Walter Nor­mann of Freehold Township, and Laurie and Daniel Tymesko of Jackson; two sisters, Therese Smith and Dorothy Turner, both of Freehold; ten grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Interment was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.

      MARTIN A. KANOWITZ, 73, of Jackson died April 22 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Jackson for the past 13 years. He was a butcher for Waldbaums in Brooklyn, N.Y., for more than 40 years, retiring in 1994. He was involved in the Seniors Who Care organization of Jackson, and the choral group in the Winding Ways development in Jackson. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Myrna; a son and daughter-in-law, Ira and Michele Kanowitz of Marlboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Neal Mintz of Perrineville; a brother, Bernard Kanowitz of Florida; a sister, Shirley Rosenthal of Florida; and seven grandchildren. Interment was in Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, N.Y.

      VERA O. JONES JENNINGS, 78, of East Brunswick died April 16 in Care One, East Brunswick. Her husband, Daniel, died in 1993, and a grandchild, Kerri SanFilippo, died in 1997. Surviving are her significant other, John; a daughter, Karen SanFilippo of Freehold; two sisters, Elizabeth McKeon of Waterbury, Conn., and Shirley Deitzer of Jackson; a grandson; and two great-grand­children. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New Jersey Hospice, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank, NJ 07701-9978.

      BRIDGETTE BURKE WIECZOREK of Old Bridge died April 14 at home. Surviving are her husband, Martin Wieczorek; a step­son, Martin Wieczorek Jr. of Keansburg; a stepdaughter, Christal Sheridan of South Amboy; two brothers, Frank Patlano of Boonton and James Burke of Manalapan; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
