American Cancer Society to host ‘South Pacific’ gala

The American Cancer Society’s third annual "Gala of Hope" will be held March 29 at 7 p.m. at the Battleground Country Club, Millhurst Road, Manalapan. The event is open to the public.

The theme for this year’s fund-raiser is "South Pacific" and will celebrate the contributions of The Mill at Spring Lake Heights. The event will feature a silent auction as well as the chance to win a 2003 Volkswagen Beetle convertible valued at $23,750 (winner need not be present).

Reservations are $200 per person, and black tie is preferred.
