Supporters of Habitat come through again On Oct. 13, Freehold Area Habitat for Humanity held its third annual "Motorcycle Ride for Affordable Housing." Although the weather was not the best, we still had many participants, and through their support we raised more than $13,000 — a figure which far surpassed last year’s total. Our thanks go out to all the motorcyclists who attended, their sponsors, and all the local businesses who supported our event. Our ride also had a full police escort, and for this we need to thank the New Jersey State Police and the police departments of Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Jackson, Howell and Colts Neck. All of these departments went out of their way to help us, which made it clear that they truly are here for the community. Thanks to the efforts of many, Freehold Area Habitat for Humanity is making a difference in the lives of families in our community. James Wishbow Ride Chairman Freehold Area Habitat for Humanity |
