      Patrick Michael Rucker, author of This Troubled Land: Voices From Northern Ireland on the Front Lines of Peace, will give a talk at Monmouth County Library Headquarters, Manalapan, at 7 p.m. July 11. Rucker moved to Belfast in 1998 in order to write the book in which he speaks with victims, assassins, thugs, soldiers and the peace campaigners who are involved in the struggle between the Catholics an Protestants, Loyalists and Republicans in Northern Ireland.
