Library seeks new books for needy children Library seeks new books The Monmouth County Library System launched its annual "Books for Kids" book donation drive Nov. 1. Last year, thousands of disadvantaged children from all across New Jersey were given the chance to own a book of their very own through this program. Books for children from preschool through age 14 are needed, and multicultural titles are especially appreciated. Book donations will be accepted through Dec. 1 at either the Manalapan, Marlboro, Howell or Colts Neck branch of the Monmouth County Library System. For details, call (732) 431-7227.
