      Teens named to All-Shore Chorus

      Teens named to
      All-Shore Chorus

      FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP — The music department of Freehold Township High School, Elton-Adelphia Road, will play host to the annual All-Shore Chorus concert on Feb. 3 at 8 p.m.

      The All-Shore Chorus is open to high school students from all schools in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Twenty-six schools from both counties have students who are participating this year, with 43 students representing the Freehold Regional High School District.

      Jennifer Balsarano, Samantha Croce and Jeffrey Brown will be participating from Colts Neck High School.

      Laura Monroe, Jamie Klenetsky, Bryan Vitalo and Alexis Normandia from Freehold Borough High School will add their voices to the melodious mixture of sound.

      Seventeen students from Freehold Township High School will be participate in the event. They are Jennifer Allain, Kirk Bixby, Erica Brown, Adam Cooper, Wayne Cordiner, Kevin Dayton, James DeMarco, Ian Frons, Aaron Kinney, Matthew Klein, Katherine Lukianov, Kektary Lukianov, John Recker, Dawn Sheppard, Brandon Solarana, Genie Suk and Renee Weber.

      Additionally, 10 students from Howell High School, Amy Polombo, Rachel Truhan, Faith Bryck, Susanne Kobb, Alyse Lichtenthal, Kim Kaye, Melissa Herrera, Andrew Arena, Ben Rodriguez and Justin Beazer, will add their resonating vocal frequencies.

      From Manalapan High School, Anne Murphy will participate in the concert; representing Marlboro High School will be Lauren Kaplan, Tiffany Chen, Soyon Kim, Lipica Roy, Trisha Steefel, Scott Schafler, Joshua Gleich and Matthew Spielman.

      Michael Hudson will be conducting the All-Shore Chorus for the concert. Selections include Randell Thompson’s "Alleluia" and "Song of Democracy" by Howard Hanson.

      Tickets will be available at the door for $7. Refreshments will be sold. For further information call the music department at Freehold Township High School at (732) 431-8460, Ext. 8472.
